We have purchased a lovely castle and need to change some of its features. When highlighted in 'edit', the particular wall comes up as 'mulitple textures'. Does anyone know how to edit the textures individually? Many thanks!

You can texture each side of the prim with diffreent texture providing you select things right.
To do this while in your edit select texture then texture tab the click the side you want textured a pop up box will show up and you can select your choice. The tricky part of this is if you haven't selected the side of prim right you might change the all joined prims though. I still have moments where I mess up even after doing it for a few months it takes bit of practice and to make sure you have right settings and prim selected. |

Tick the "Texture Select" feature in the editor when you have activated that particular prim, and you can see the texture select sign(s) on the prim face.
I also recommend you read Robin Sojourner's tutorials on texturing. You will find information on the in-game tutorials at www.robinwood.com . Good luck and have fun ![]() Edit: I was a little bit late there.. Anyways, I have experienced what Spark said many times. The texture select feature jumped back to position and I just changed the textures on the whole prim instead of one face. It happens, but less if you are careful. |

Be sure to click the "select texture" radio button on the edit floater as shown below:

Go carefully if you do not have a COPY of your castle in inventory. Its easy to change a texture on a face or faces, only to discover that you made a mistake--and the orginal texture is gone.
