I am just starting out and I use PSP 7.0 and I would like to make textures but am not aware of how to save an image if i wanted to make railings how to make them transparent so we only see the rails and not a white back ground .. can someone help me?

Try giving a read to the sticky thread at the top of this forum about transparency and alpha channels.
