Not sure if this is possible... but, is there a way to export textures you have out of SL and onto your hard drive?

Thanks for any responses! :)

There isnt an export feature, but here's a workaround...

Double-click the texture in your inventory. This opens it in a window, without applying any lighting effects. Resize the window as necessary. Take a screen capture (PrtScn or CTRL-PrtScn). This places the screenshot in your clipboard.

Paste the image into your editing software (Photoshop, Paintshop, etc) , and crop to the appropriate dimensions.

Its not as simple as "Export Texture" would be (if it existed), but it works well.

Good luck.

If you have permissions you can open the texture then under file/save texture as, and this will save it to your harddrive.

I stand corrected. Thanks Drift.
