First let me start by saying that SL is an incredible achievement in gaming entertainment. I've been playing for about 3 months or so and there are some things that I can't do with the templates provided for instances. I can't create a seperate texture per Eye. and I can't design a single sleeve or pant garment. the alternative is to model prims for the body part you wish to cover or change. the end result is an avatar which doesn't come close to what you intended. If ANYONE can help I REALLY appreciate it. Thanks for reading. IM me sometimes.

Hi Keesor.. as you've found, there is no way to make different designs on each arm, or have two different eye colours, or two different shoe designs using the built in clothing system.. so you're not doing anything wrong there  (you can do different designs on each leg though) Only way to do it is using prims.. it's a bodge job i'm afraid

but on the bright side you can have two different legs, two different nipples, two different ears, and two different butt cheeks if that's your thing. i have two different eyes and i dare anyone to say they can see a difference between them other than texture. IM me and i'll reveal my not-so-secret secret.

I know of someone who has made a single different eye for an av, Matrix from Reboot. There has to be a way, possibly prim related.

Attach a sphere to your eye that's slightly (SLIGHTLY) larger than it.
