im a n00b, need to put words on a shirt...

i have a few ideas for shirts with funny words on em, but i cant figure out how to do it, first i figured i would take an existing t-shirt texture, and add the text on the file, then upload it, but i cant FIND the files...

any help would be apreciated, and bear in mind, im not just a n00b to SL, but pretty clueless with PCs in general, but i can headshot your ass across the map in BF2!!!

How does one take a headshot in the ass?

There are some templates and sample from the Second Life website download area. You can mess around with those first.

If you just want to put words on a t-shirt, I have a template (not a UV Map, but an actual t-shirt template,) here.

There's a link to download it on that page, and links to a couple of tutorials explaining how to use it, as well.

One caveat; if you're using Photoshop 7.0, you'll need the free upgrade that allows you to make real alpha channels (as opposed to embedded ones.) You can get it from Adobe, and there are links to it in several of these forum posts, as well. (I'm sorry I'm not giving you the link here, but I don't have it on this computer, and you can find it on the Adobe site as easily as I can. )

This is as easy as it gets.
