I'm looking for some basic Photo Shop images to use as examples for making clothes, especially shoes.
I downloaded the base template package from the SL site. However, I'm not finding the generic template very useful without an actual example to refer to. I can't quite envision how the various seams on the shoe portion will render in 3D.
If anyone has an example or two to share, or knows of a place where I can download them, please let me know.
Thanks.

What kind are you looking for? Similar to the ones LL has with the masking? Or just what a say T-shirt looks like in Photoshop? I can send you some of mine. They are very basic but might help you along some....
Shoot me an email and I'll send them over. rimble at gmail.com

Thanks. The templates from SL include various shirts, pants and so on in different layers which are invisible to start with. Using these is a good way to get you used to saving the image in the correct format, uploading and then creating the item on your AV. AB

Angelica - I have the templates from SL. However, none of the layers on the lower body template include anything on the feet area.

I found some templates made by Chip Midnight (CMFF) that are really awesome. They are not the examples you are asking for but still they are worth tracking down. You can do a forum search for templates and find links to a download site. Good Luck Bobby

I must admit, I haven't done any designs using "feet" yet I guess I can only recommend trial and error, unless someone out there wishes to donate a simple pair of boots as a template AB

Bobby - Thanks. Those are great templates. My problem is I'm not a graphics arts designer - I'm a programmer that dabbles in graphics designs. As a layman, I can do OK, but I have difficulty creating from scratch. As a programmer, I'm used to seeing example code snippets, seeing how something works and then making it do what I want. That's what I'm trying to do now, but from the graphics design perspective, if I can reverse engineer HOW someone laid out an image on those templates, I will have a better understanding. Appreciate all of the feedback I've received so far.
