I just got cs3 and cant upload tga's any more. With cs2 it gave u the option of saving as 16, 24 or 32 bit. Now there is no option.

When i try and upload anyway, it tells me to try saving the tga file as a 24 bit file. Does any one how to upload a tga from CS3?

I have spent more then an hour on the net searching for it, and i cant see mention of any one else with this problem.

I can provide screen shots if necessary. Also this forums does not allow searching of 3 characters. So I cant search for cs3, and photoshop has way too many links to search thru (I tried anyway). Spent about another hour in here.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Do a complete reinstall it sounds like. I have CS3 and it allows me to choose between the 16/24/32

Before you go reinstalling anything, here's something really easy. Make sure you're working in RGB mode. (Image -> Mode -> RGB Clolor)

If you're in another mode right now like grayscale, then there won't be any bit depth options at the time of save (because grayscale bit depth is always the same, by definition). Make sure you're in RGB mode, and everything should be okay.

That was the problem! I feel really stupid now, could have sworn I tried that first! Thanks for the help mate.
