Probably a n00b question, but then, I'm a n00b when it comes to building within Second Life.
I know how to texture my Prims, and I know how to apply multiple textures to my Prims... such as applying Texture A to Face 1; then Texture B to Face 2... and so on.
My question however is this.
How can I adjust the resolution the Texture on each Face? For an example of what I mean, let us say I taken a simple default Prim shape, the Half Cylinder shape... and turned it into a Arch.
I then apply my textures to it.
On one side, the Texture looks great. But on the reverse side, it looks enlarged; and on the inside curve of the arch, its all stretched out.
Is there a way to get all the sides to look the same?

I hope I am understanding your question ok, in edit mode under the texture tab if you look up you'll see some boxes you can check. I check edit linked parts and select texture then I can adjust individual sides to match.

To select the texture on one face only: In edit mode, select the Select Texture option, left click a face on an object. It will get a target style overlay to show it is selected.
Once you have a specific face selected, you can fiddle around with the number of repeats, rotation and offset in order to get it to look less stretched.

You guys have answered my question perfectly... Hmm, I am not sure how I've missed that option, sounds like it should be right under my nose! But then it is usually the most obvious ones that we always miss when we're looking. Thanks for the help!

From: Ambrosius Muircastle I am not sure how I've missed that option Don't worry about it. Almost everyone misses it at first. Your question was one of the most commonly asked. The option itself is poorly named, and the editor is not as well laid out as it should be, so things like this are not very intuitive. I've been saying for years that they should do away with Select Texture and Edit Linked Parts, and put a big honkin' 3-way toggle switch right at the top of the editor. The three options should be labeled very simply, Select Whole Objects, Select Individual Prims, and Select Individual Faces. That would be a lot more sensible.

Glad to be of help Ambrosius Chosen- Agreed, the SL learning curve wouldn't be so steep with those changes.
