http://creativemac.digitalmedianet.com/articles/viewarticle.jsp?id=31220hey everyone! I'm trying to learn how to better texture my skin and the effects in that tutorial are just what I need! Unfortunately the brushes aren't compatible with my PS, can anyone recommend a site that could offer me the brushes to help with this technique? thanks much! <3

As far as I know, the PS brush file format really hasn't changed since PS 7.0. The Nagel brushes should work with PS 7 just fine. What happens when you try to use them? So you know, you can find the complete collection of Nagel brushes (and others) at http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/photoshopbrushes/Free_Adobe_Photoshop_Brushes_to_Download.htm . Series 20 and 27 are both for skin. 19 and 21 work well with them for adding hair.

Not sure what to tell you, DeLuna, besides upgrade to a new version of PS, which is probably not what you want to hear. PS7 is well over 6 years out of date at this point. I had thought the brush format hadn't changed, but maybe I was wrong about that. Sorry.

When you unzip the brushes to a folder there is a sub folder called MAC_OS which contains a set of brushes for the Mac version of photoshop (not sure if brush formats are compatible)....go up one directory and you'll see another set with the identical name, these worked fine for my PC and CS3 version of Photoshop.

I don't think that would have worked either since I don't use a Mac. I went and got myself CS3 since Chosen's right XD; it is six years old (harsh truth of it all!). This one seems to be running fine on my computer, so all is well! Thanks for your help <3
