Your questions are not at all clear, River. What do you mean by "best way to save" and "best rezzing"?
Generally, there's only one way to save a file, obviously. You just hit the Save command, which you'll usually find on the File menu in any program. And there's usually only one way to upload a file to SL. You just use the Upload command, found on the File menu in your SL viewer. I can't believe that could be what you were really trying to ask, though, as it's far too obvious. So what is it really?
If you're wondering about what file formats to use and/or about appropriate image sizes, see the sticky on that subject at the top of the forum. If you mean something else, please explain.
As for sculpt maps, the answer for how to "save" them depends on what 3D modeling program you're using. In most cases, you'll either use a script/plugin to export them, or you'll use a renderer to generate them. For size, they should always be 64x64. For uploading, that again can vary, depending on what modeling program you're using. If you're using Maya, then I recommend Eddy Strykers primscript.exe uploader, since it automatically assembles your model for you. If you're using something else, then the simplest thing to do is just to upload the sculpt map image files the same way you upload texture files.
