I have a Game Show Idea for an weekly event that would involve all of you if you are interested.

What it would require before you inquire further about the details is this.

#1 Time in your store or location where you sell your Articles

#2 One Free set of clothes donated but NOT exclusive per month maybe every other month depending on how the Idea goes.

Avatar creators I will discuss with you One on One the Ideas set for those.

#3 Your Time and Knowledge depending on the situation.

If i had photoshop i would....my designs i have not even started selling yet and don't have any shops or land i use of my own. Maybe later, I wish i could but i want to get better exp under my belt to fine tune some of my stuff. Mostly i have other ppl's AV's for my clothing designing, but even that is still very bland.

Due to the Lack of total support for this Venue my Idea for Trading Avatars is now a No Go.

So sorry to hear that Shadow. I was looking forward to this event since it's different from all the other events in SL. How many people signed up? How many did you need?

NO!!!

We have a shop in Leda and I am a designer, and next to the shop is in an event area that can be reconstructed to the liking of this event, Dont give up!

Basic Summary of the Idea

6 Contestants (3) Pairs
(had to be pairs of Friends)

6 Designers/Avatar Creators

Objective

The 3 Pair of Avatars would make a copy of their own av with full Mod and copy rights and trade it with their friend.

The 6 Designers would take each avatar to their store to mod the traded avatars.

They would return in one hour to a defined event area

in front of the audience the Friends would trade the modded avatars back and put them on for the audience.

The audience would then grade who had the best or worst avatar mod and winners paid accordingly.


Timeline for event.

#1 FIrst event area
a.(contestants meet the audience)
b.(contestants trade avatars)
c.(designers assigned to Avatar)
d.(designers and avatars move off to respective stores for modifications.)
e.(audience can go to any of the designers locations to watch)

1hr time lapse

#2 Second Event area
a.(contestants return)
b.(anoucer gives them the ok to exchange back)
c.( they put on New Av.)
d.(Audience gets to vote.)
e.(Winners Paid) (note WInners get to move into a new competition Catagory if they wish to continue)

Each week this would happen.

Unique Creations

But alas unless there is a major outpouring of support for this sort of an Idea I cannot do it alone.

hmm I am still willing to participate, and I know this is the "clothing forum" but not many people post here, I would suggest bringing it up in another forum, maybe get more responses, this could be really fun!

I am also interested in this (which is why I sent an email in the first place wanting to know more) . I agree with Sensual about posting this up in another forum. As for getting contestants...c'mon, who wouldn't want a free makeover from a famous SL clothesmaker?
