Hi I have a problem with the lines around a shirt. They look all messed up. I've tried different ways to get rid of these ugly looking lines but i can't sort it out. I hope someone here knows a solution for this problem. Here is a sample of the problem: It's also happening around the neck or around the armpit when making a sleeveless shirt. Help!!! Edit: I work on a 512x512. Maybe this has something to do with it? Also websites with good clothing tutorials, texture tutorials are very welcome.

Yes, working at 512x512 will have a lot to do with it. Try doing your design work at 1024x1024 and then downsizing to 512x512 as you make the final TGA image to upload. Be sure to save your working file at full size first, though! You will find that most of the jaggedy lines will disappear. There are other tricks to try as well, but that's the most obvious one. For tutorials, the best place to start is the sticky thread on Tutorials at the top of this forum. I would also look through Natalia Zelmanov's nicely-illustrated posts on her blog at . Before you get too involved in tutorials, though, please take time to read the other sticky threads at the top of this forum. They may seem esoteric at first, but they are extremely important to read and understand. A very large proportion of the questions that arise on this forum are from people who should have read about Texture Size, Pixel Counts, Video Memory, and File Formats or about Transparency and Alpha Channels. The information in those two threads can save you a boat load of frustration and heartache. You'll find valuable advice in each of the other sticky threads as well, so don't ignore them, but PLEASE spend time reading those two very carefully before you go any farther. Welcome to the world of clothing design.
