Just a reminder that I am holding a "Basic Clothing for the Non-Professional Artist" class this afternoon at 12:30 SLT or 3:30 Eastern Standard Time. The venue will be my home: Rustic (185,221). You will find the details and a teleport landmark in the Events calendar under Education.

Hi Jen,

I missed you class again because of RL commitments. And I was so looking forward to learning. I've been trying to try and experiment on my own but it's just so hard! I even tried cheating and using photos of clothes but I couldn't even do that right. lol.

Let me know when your next class is going to be. I can't find anyone else who's willing to teach me this stuff.

Stella, I droped a copy of the class handouts in your profile. It has everything I had out in class, templates, notecards, pictres, etc. I also included a tutorial I wrote, based on the script.

Hi,

I'm a successful builder and like to think that I'm reasonably quick at picking up and using new skills. I have tried and just cannot seem to wrap my head around making clothes. I can make simple t-shirts and tight-fitting pants, but I want to make more interesting things. I have PhotoShop 9 CS and PaintShop Pro 8.0 but I have yet to be able to make a long coat for example that has an interesting texture.

I suppose I need a baby-steps tutorial I would appreciate a copy og your class handouts since I cannot login during the day (EST). Thank you very much!
