Hello all,
I've been using Photoshop for several years. And now I have a problem with making something similar to a doughnut. No matter what I do I can't seem to get rid of this white halo on the INSIDE of this doughnut shape. I've tried saving via both types of .TGA files, coloring over the halo with the same color of the texture, and erasing everything in the hold - but to no avail.
Anyone out there encounter the same problem?

I've read that sticky, but it doesn't apply to me. My halo is in the inside, not the outside.

Can you post a screenshot of what you mean, Pia? If we can see it, I'm sure we can diagnose what's going on.
Oh, and if you'd be so kind, please post the file to another site, like to imageshack or putfile or something, and post an [img]link here. Don't actually attach the file directly to your post. As it says in my signature, my forum account is borked. Not only can I not see PM's but I usually can't access attachments either. When I click on them, times out of 10, it tells me I don't have permission to access the page. I have to log out, log in with an alt, view the thing, and then relog with this account to reply with the right name. It's a huge PITA.

Are you using photoshop 7? photoshop 7 tries to automatically detect the alpha layer (and not very good either). It can leave this halo effect on the edge of any part of the alpha.. whether the outside edge OR an inside alpha such as you are seeing.
