Will my textures ever be right

Ok i still can't get my texture picker working. Oh well its only been a couple of months.

Anyway i have a new problem. Warped textures!!!! this is really confusing.

i put the textureon a cube that had been enlarged and flattened then tapered. I've done it before no probs.

Now the texture is warped. If you choose "select texture" even the target symbol is warped.

Any ideas gratefully recieved.

I've given up on the lindens fixing anything!

Change the mapping from standard to planar and it will straighten out. What you're describing is perfectly normal behavior for standard mapping.
