I'm currently planning on doing a total of 4 speed painting threads. Approx 1/week for a month. Depending on where my RL is at, I might do more. Plenty of time to think about taking over being the host if you want. Discuss.
I've been playing with different softwares with my tablet. Snapping up freebies and goofing around. So far my absolute favorite is the free version of Project Dogwaffle. Feels the most natural to me by far.
----
This week, paint a knick-knack. Could be something you picked up at a swap, sitting in a display cabinet, or just something squatting on your desk. A bauble, if you will.
You have 30 minutes to paint it. Any way you want using any softs or traditionals. You can go under the time limit, but please don't go over.
No filters - just painting.
Paint it and post it.

How do you enable brush without using a filter?
When I click on the brush and try to paint nothing happens.

Clarissa, could be any number of things depending on your software. I use Photoshop and I have a mental check-list of things to check when nothing appears to happen. What colour am I trying to paint with? What colour is the background? What blending mode is the Brush tool set to? Opacity or Brush or Layer? Flow?
I'm always changing things around and sometimes I forget to change one little thing for a different task.
"Foibles and Stupid Mistakes" is one of my favorite subjects.
