i currently came across pigtails which are rather long, and since they are copy/mod/transfer, i decided to retexture them. when i do everything goes well, except where the ponytails connect (to make it longer) and this is where i see circles.
ive tried everything i can using the transparencies. can someone help me out in game? ill pay for your troubles.

Can you define "see circles"? Maybe post a pic? I'd like to help, but I need to know exactly what the problem is.
I'd guess maybe it's an alpha sorting issue, in which case the simplest cure is to use a texture without transparency, but I could be way off since your description could mean anything.

Sounds to me like there are two cylinders (or similar) stuck to each other, end to end, and that the end circular disks are textured, when they should be full alpha transparent. Try putting a full alpha transparent texture on those disks?

if you were to see me from the front, the two smaller ones in the front show circles also. when looking from the back, the smaller ones and larger ones show circles.
the pic is attatched.

Looks like Siefert gurssed correctly. You need a completely transparent texture on the surfaces where the two pieces meet in each tail. The simplest way to do it would be to turn on Edit Linked Parts, select a prim, and then click Edit Texture. Every surface on the prim will be selected by default. Deslect the outer surface by shift-clicking it, and then use the texture picker to select a full alpha texture for all the inner suraces. Repeat the process for each prim.
Another option is you could simply use totally non-transparent textures. From the picture, it doesn't look like transparency is really necessary on those tails.
