I´ve been thinking it would be funny to design a virtual computer with a script that lets you browse internet from within SL, so you could see the websites at the virtual screen and navigate through a HUD.
Maybe using something similar to the Media Texture... not sure.
Do you think it´s possible?

you could make a computer that browses the internet via snapshts but it wouldent work for all sites and it would be alot of hastle, untill they bring out an LSL code that alws you to view a URL on a prim its just not worth the trouble

Actually you can browse the internet in SL. Via profile. Simply find someone whos profile URL is flickr or yahoo or google and then you can actually get to a search engine and browse. So what he is suggesting is possible.

It'll be even funnier if you could make a bot 'camera' that attaches to a dummy alt/avatar that flies the avatar around taking screenshots/video that send it to a streaming media server so that you can display what it is seeing on a screen on your land. |

I want to access Third Life from within Second Life. Third Life will be programmed in LSL and display on a prim computer.
