Yes, I'm a n00b, and even n00bier when it comes to creating things I picked up some free textures and purchased some too. I rezzed them and placed the folders in my Textures folder. However, when I use the texture picker in Edit, none of the textures show up! Have I missed a step? The perms on the textures are all mod/copy/no transfer. Thanks for any help you can give!

There's your reason, no-trans textures don't show in the texture picker. You can still use them, but you have to drag them from your inventory onto each face where you want to use them.

Time saving tip: In addition to just dragging a texture onto each face, you can also drag it onto the texture picker field in the editor. This speeds things up tremendously if you want to apply the same texture to multiple faces and/or multiple objects. Simply highlight your target(s), and then drag your texture from inventory to the picker field.
