So for one of my custom av jobs, I need to create a very dark blue skin, and the default skin controls can't make a skin dark enough. The obvious solution is a tattoo.
Unfortunately, a tattoo texture covers all other skin details, including natural skin hi/lo-lighting, makeup, and eyebrows. I see three workarounds for this:
A) - Have LL create an option to specify a base skin tone by RGB values instead of teh sliders. I don't see this happening anytime soon.
B) Integrate the makeup etc into the skin tattoo texture. This requires more informatyion than I presently have.
C) Get as close as possible to the desired colour with teh skin tools, then apply a black tattoo over eerything generally, but with a very high transparency level, effectively making the whole thing darker. Unfortunately, I have no idea how this would affect the base skin textures for makeup.
Does anyone have any experience with C, or a decent walkthrough on how to do B?
