Here is my problem. I created a texture for the use on the outside walls of a house. The texture is a siding texture with horizontal lines. When I apply the texture to the large parts of the wall I can make it look very good, but on the smaller prims such as the prim above the door way, the texture becomes compressed and no amount of fiddling with the settings will get it to line up with the rest of the wall.
Anyone have any suggestions or solutions?
Thanks a bunch.

In the "Texture' tab you will end up having to set the "repeats per face" to a number less than 1.000 in order to uncompress the image. You can control this in both the vertical and horizontal directions. In addition, you will likely have to align the texture by adjusting the offset, also controllable in the horizontal and vertical directions.

OR Simply use the 'planar' setting!!!

Then when you get the the scale you want on one block (horizontal and vertical repeats) the same settings on another prim face will make the scale identical regardless of the size of prim you put the texture on!
