Automatic Upload of Textures

Is there any webservice present that provides an automatically upload of textures and returns their object-ids? At the moment, i'm developing an object-management-tool that should change some SL-Objects even if i'm not logged in. Just changing the textures of an object is no problem (thanks to XMLRPC) but changing to a texture that is not present in SL is much trickier.

Or have anybody any other idea how I could implement this?

Greetings!

I believe this would require the web server (or another computer it can connect to) to be running a custom client. I haven't heard of one that does this exactly but would like one myself, I'd imagine it shouldn't be too hard to make though.

A quick, easy, and limited way would be to use the streaming media URL - if you put in the URL of your image instead of a .mov, Quicktime will display the image.

There's a way of uploading images by libsecondlife and a C#-program but I would prefer java. And the libsecondlife-java version is in a pre-alpha-state.
