Hi Infiniview and FD! Yep, the class will be repeated next Wednesday, Oct. 22, at 6 PM SL time.

If you can't make that one, there'll be a final instance of this course on Wed, Oct. 29 at 6 SL time, and then I'm going to do Very Basic Clothing 101 for a month.
There won't be any classes in December, for obvious reasons, but I plan to resume in January, probably with things like Seamless Textures and Advanced Alphas.
The Plan is to have one course that runs every Wednesday evening for a month, and then that one will go into a book in the Texture Library, and I'll do a different one. I may repeat them a year later, or I might not. Depends on lots of things.

Nyoko, (and anyone else who thought this was a discussion) I'm not really looking for "contributors." I'm sorry. This is a course that I've developed and timed pretty carefully. We go through a lot of material, and the format is lecture (by me) with frequent times for questions (from anyone who has one) and answers (from me.)
There is time for discussion after the class is over; but if we're going to get through the material in the one hour time span that I've scheduled, we can't wander off into other topics while class is going on. So we don't.
If you'd rather have a discussion about topics in general, or if you'd like to teach a course yourself, contact me.

I set the area up for lectures/classes/discussions, and I'd be happy to help anyone else who would like to hold lectures/courses there to do so.
I also really wish that I could have one set early enough in the day for people who weren't in the US, but the sad fact is that I'm still not quite up to normal operating speed yet (although I'm gaining ground all the time) and I can't manage that.
