Here I am again! lol I want to make some christmas clothing with white fur trim but when I use the fur brush with white, it turns out too transparent. You can hardly see it when youre done. How do I build up that color so its not so transparent? Actually, any color or fabric. They all turn out too transparent.

I know this isn't exactly what you are looking for, but you might enjoy making your fur trim with a prim attachment. It's worth learning how to make, and it's more convincing than painted fur anyway. Try the tutorial at

I didnt realize Alpha channels were used for other things besides just making the clothing. I guess Ill have to change my way of thinking. ![]() _____________________

I didnt realize Alpha channels were used for other things besides just making the clothing. I guess Ill have to change my way of thinking. ![]() Alpha mapping is one of the most basic and fundamental tenets of graphics, and has been for decades. It's applicable to literally billions of tasks. This is why I always harp in this forum (and elsewhere) that people are shortchanging themselves in ways they cannot yet imagine when they make the decision not to learn how to use alpha channels. I'm glad you're starting to see the light. ![]() |
