I saw this item it uses electronic pen and regular paper and records anything you write or draw. I thought it might be interesting item to use as drawing tablet to draw textures, etc. But I was curious if anyone has any experience with this item to give me opinion whether or not it would be worth buying and its use for drawing texture related items in Second Life?

The resolution of those is horrible for use in any artistic fashion. Also, it lacks pen pressure sensitivity as well as rotation, tilt, etc.
Wacom is the best, but if you can't afford one, the UC-LOGIC brand you see on ebay all the time isn't horrible (acrtually, it's pretty decent for the price), it's just not a wacom.

I've used a similar product, the PC NoteTaker, and had a the same experience. Poor resolution and no pressure sensitivity. My Wacom Intuos3 is a dream in compare (but almost 2x the price).
You used real paper and the pen that came with it used ink cartridges but also took camera batteries. You clipped a little sensor to the top of your paper or notebook when writing.

LoL Choosen it does sound like that. Thanks all. I am saving up for something not sure what I am going to get. I did see the tinies Wacom for 99. The USB Cyber Pad I saw was 155, just was wondering if anyone has heard of it and used them. On my saving up my money for textures aka wish list is digital camera and some type of drawing item for textures. Following the Wacom discussion too. Issue with drawing in pencil or ink, the using a scanner is there is only certain things I can do I can't always do the colors at same time I am creating whatever I am drawing. Not sure what is best and cheapest way to get the colors I am need outside of Photoshop when I am creating manually then scanning. Thanks for answering, the advice and the laughs. FD
