Actually, I have a need for several for various projects, that I cannot seem to find through web search or SLX:
- Tartan Plaid - A few variations in the plaid pattern and colors would be a nice touch.
- Ruffles (Like dress edging maybe or "bunched" ruffles, if that helps to convey the material.)
- Steel rings (Gold might do)
I found similar in some of the sale packs on SLX, but, those just dont quite meet the right smart vision I have of the end product. Besdies, a girl should get what she REALLY wants!
/Batting lashes
I really appreciate any help or posting of a site where I might get these.
Cheers

Easy plaids in GIMP -- Select a picture with colors you want to use in it. Or create one. This is only to grab colors, so no worries about source.
Open it in GIMP. Filters>>Colors>>Smooth Palette. Change the settings so the smooth palette will be 256 x 256.
In Layers Dialog, duplicate layer.
Layers>>Transform>>Rotate 90 degrees.
In Layers Dialog change top layer to 50 percent transparent.
Layers>>Merge down.
There's your plaid.
You can clothify it for an interesting effect. Or map it to tile for a finer pattern for working with.

Thank you so much. I am very new to GIMP and I am trying to learn things. I just have the urge to complete what I started before getting bogged down in the technical part of it. I really appreicate your post and I saved it to text file. Thanks again!
Cheers
