Hi,
In Nautilus - Shalim there is a ship that's under construction in a dry dock. If you look closely you'll see that there are 8 prims linked just below the water.
The prims hide Linden the water and, if you fly slowly into the prim you'll see that that the part of your AV that's in the prim becomes invisible (you may have to disable rendering of water to see the effect).
It looks like the prims don't contain any scripts, so this is a texture. But you can't even see the blocks when you enable Show Transparent!
How do they do that? This would be really useful for hiding water when we don't want it someplace.
Thanks -2fast

Invisiprim. It's a "feature" that causes a prim to make anything behind it with a transparency layer disappear. Highlight Transparent won't see it. Most people have the script that makes it. If not, I'll toss you a copy when I get the chance. (^_^)y

Just add this script to make something an invisiprim... default { state_entry() { llSetTexture ("38b86f85-2575-52a9-a531-23108d8da837", ALL_SIDES); } }
They're neat things but they also hide anything that's at all transparent and will hide avatar skin/clothes - anything not prim. To see this, either make your own invisiprim and cam at yourself through it or just stand on that nautilus drydock and cam down under it and look up at yourself..
