So i've been experimenting with Photoshop and I was wondering if most jean makers draw the pockets, buttons, fly belt loops etc. or do they just download a regular jean template and just edit it from there

IIRC the Linden lower body template has a pair of trousers as one layer of it. That would give you an idea where the pockets, fly and seams fall.

I use those as a basic placement guide and paint my own garment on a seperate layer or layers. Don't be afraid to experiment. And be sure to take advantage of the previewer in the upload box to be sure your seams line up all pretty. There is a drop down menu in the right hand side of that window that allows you to see what the texture looks like on the appropriate model-- male lower body, skirt, female head etc, and you can move the model about to look at all angles. You will save yourself a lot of bad uploads and fees if you use it wisely.

Good Luck to you Daeric!
