Make sure the the skirt doesn't have side slits created with the appearance mode sliders. If that's not it, make sure the edges of the skirt texture extends far enough to cover the bleed area (the match point for a fully rezzed texture is the outside edge of the dark grid lines. The match point for bleed - when a texture isn't fully rezzed - is the outside edge of the colored edge matching guides). Hope that helps :)

As Chip says, make sure the texture overlaps the template slightly.

But also look at your Alpha channel. Have you perhaps selected the skirt layers, and used that selection to create the alpha directly?
For a skirt like this your alpha channel could very simply be a horizontal black bar at the bottom of the alpha channel (slightly above the end of the texture). This is to cut the length of the skirt. You don't need to worry about masking the sides or top of a complete skirt (SL does that anyway).

hey :)
thanx for the replies
I tried to make pants this time, and the same prob, it has slits on the sides.
I went to appearence and itz zero there so it is something wrong when I'm doing it on psp
I usually follow athene's step by step for t-shirts, to make the clothes.
maybe there is something more i should know when making pants and skirts?
xoxo :)

Babsie - if you'd like to post your file here, we'll take a look.
Feel free to fill the cloth with some other pattern or a solid colour (just verify that this doesn't fix the problem:)) if you would prefer that no-one copies it and uploads it for themselves.

I can only check PSD and TGA files - but if you send the PSP as well, I'm sure one of the PSP gurus will be happy to help.
