I have seen some ppl in game with these beautifully made Name Necklaces. I would like to know how they are done.
I am looking into getting into designing jewelry, because there is a lot stuff I don't see out there in World.
If anyone can help with this, I would appreciate it.
I would even like to get started with working on it today, since the grid is down and I have the boredom to do it lol.
THANKS!!!

Hey, Lilly Those name necklaces you're talking about are made by Willy Virgo so he would be the best person to ask. However, what I can tell you is that it is an insanely time consuming process to make your original piece that others will be copied from. Each link in the chain is an individual prim w/a metallic texture. The prim needs to be metal under material and the shininess set to whatever level. From what I have seen, the 'sparkle' effect only seems to work with tiny prims, hence why each link in the chain is separate. As for the name part, I would imagine each letter is its own prim, using a texture with alpha channels to make the 'invisible' part. However, don't quote me on that. LOL Good luck Kat

As this is in the texturing forum I assume this is a question about textures, there's a lot of ways to do jewelry, really tiny prims, alpha textures etc.... if you could show me an example of the jewelry youre talking about Id be willing to help you out.
