hey everyone~! I've been having this issue for a while, I even compared the same PSD file with a friend and for whatever reason, whenever I shrink my 1024 images to 512, a seam appears like so: __link__They aren't there on the 1024, so I thought I'd expand the image over the canvas after shrinking, just incase any gaps were there :\ but it didn't work. anyone know why this is happening? x.x I'd love to fix it instead of opening the flattened image afterward and having to seam match (especially on rendered textures) <3 thanks everyone

got it, Image Size -> Bilinear setting needed
I had it on Bicubic (for smooth gradiants), I guess it was smoothing everything inward @__@

Glad you got the issue resolved. I never saw the seam in your image, but yes, types of interpolation should be taken into consideration whenever an image is resized.

well the left bit is shaped liked the right one because they fit together (overlapped them to give it a depth of texture-like field- But ja :3 the vertical white wavy line cutting through the middle one on the right. It's also on the left one, might be monitor settings whether it's highly noticeable or not

The wavy line looks like part of the original texture, especially since it appears as part of the intended double exposure. I gave up trying to find anything that looked like an artifact due to a graphics glitch in that image. It simply wasn't there for me. Perhaps your problem is video/hardware related. Just a guess.

nah, not supposed to be there. If I tiled the image on a large plain, that wavey white line would actually be straight and wrapping around every repeated box :3 hardwares fine. I think whether it looks part of a texture or not is relative to what's being textured. A straight black box with bilinear (smooth) checked like I had would make it outlined too. Just the way I opted to shrink the image :3
