Has anyone tried opening a browser window as a texture in SL? I have heard it can be done...anyone know how?

It's done the same way streaming video is done. Pick any texture you want, put it on a prim, then go into your About Land settings. Assign that same texture as your media texture, and set the media type to html. Then just plug in the URL you want to show.
Note, this is only possible if you own land, or if you're part of a group that owns land. You can't just carry the prim around and have it work everywhere.
