Is anyone aware of a tool/photoshop filter/software that will take a high resolution image and divide it/break it up into pre-determined sizes..say 1024 x 1024 pix for example? or 512 x 512 pix ?
Without having to do it manually in say photoshop. Almost like the reverse of the 'stitching' feature when merging images into a panorama in Photoshop
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks Taz

There are web tools that split images into smaller pieces for a webpage to discourage/deter image copying..I'll look down that route

Thanks Taz The Offset Filter in CS under Filters/Other will allow you to split the image into equal parts but to reduce the pixel size has to be done using image size as it effects all layers in the file not just the layer you are working on. Edit: Are you wanting to save each part of the original image as a separate file and have them all same size for upload? If so that is a complete waist of your time as you can with the Offset filter split your image accordingly into separate layers in the same file and then just reduce the whole file using image size then save each selected layer as tga. There is no need to flatten the file or have multiple files of the image split into their respective parts.
