I have been playing with framed animations on prims (like most of the fire in the SL) and was wondering if anyone had an actual template for placement of the frames? If so I would most appreciative if I could get one. Thanks :)

There's no template necessary. Simply divide your texture evenly into the number of sections you need. In other words, if your script is set for 4 frames, divide your canvas into 4 quadrants in a 2x2 configuration. That's it.

On a side note, I'd highly recommend not going above 9 frames (3x3). If your texture is 512x512, nine frames will put each one at 171x171. Any smaller than that and it gets extremely difficult to show much detail.

you can also arrange the frames in a film strip horizontally or vertically or in a non square shape like 2x8 or whatever. just rememer to keep your dimensions in the 16/32/64/128/512 range so they don't have to be resized and lose detail.
