oh and happy new year, everybody!

i never post, but i read this pretty much every day, so... anyway, you've all been a huge collosal help and you don't even know it.

here's the thing. my nose is blue. it wasn't blue at all before, but i added some red tones to make the flesh look a bit more realistic and now the tip is blue. this is not a good look. i did photosource wayyyyyy back before i started doing much to the skins, but that's pretty buried by now, i suspect and nothing else looks blue. it doesn't look blue in GIMP. it seems to look more blue at noon and in some sims and not others. not blue with a facelight on.

it's quite depressing. i seem to remember a thread on this. anyway to un-blue it and still make it look like a nose that's a bit ruddy very appreciated.

thanks again - for all the help you don't even know you give me! esp chip, chosen... oh nevermind. just all ya'll.

Sounds like a shadow to me. Sometimes I get that at certain points on the body in certain lights. I always wear a facelight now, to try and counter that shadow. Sometimes editing the nose top slider can smooth out the area and reduce the shadow. Maybe you could link a screenshot so we can see what's going on?
