I'm looking for someone to help me with creating textures for my (finally) done motorcycle. It's completed and working, but the black and red box scheme is not really what I wanted for it. If anyone has the time to create some textures I can send some photos of my inspiration and send you a copy of the bike as well. Payment can be arranged if need be =P Here is a pic of the bike: http://img391.imageshack.us/img391/4455/lucidbikefinal0013ck.jpgthanks! --Lucient Sieyes

How about a combined effort and payout?
I'm not sure if I'd have the time to do it, but I've always wanted to design an outfit that goes with some type of vehicle and sell them both as a package deal.
So, work with a clothing designer to combine your cycle with matching cycle outfit/racing outfit and sell them as a bundle. And maybe allow both creators to sell the bundle, working out some way to share the profits as they come in. It'd be a win-win situation.
I'd be interested (I would think other designers might also be) in doing the outfit as well as providing texture for the bike if I could sell the bundle in my stores and splitting the revenue.
Just some thoughts--this may have been done before, so maybe someone else has some insight on this type of deal.

There are a variety of ways to do the profit sharing depending on how you sell the packages:
A simple script in an object that sells the bike + clothing can be set up to profit split. (I could write such a script for a very low price.) Selling on line through SL Boutique at least (I suspect the other sites too) can be set up to automatically profit split. Setting up an avatar that you share as the owner of both (although rather violently opposed by the TOS) could also work - you'd get to see the accounts and could check it's all cosher.
All these systems require some level of trust between you, but no extra trust than any other business partnership.
Altering an existing multi-item vendor to do it is harder, but possible I think, although it might prove to be much harder to sort that out. Rewriting one from scratch is probably actually easier.
I'm not sure if there's a good multi-item vendor system script with built in profit sharing in the script library, but if not I could probably write a fairly simple one for a small fee or a small cut of the sales, more twiddles would be harder (and more expensive) obviously, but I could look into that too so it did precisely the reporting etc. that you wanted.

Well, I did not have any short term plans to sell it, but if I could get something arranged like that I would go for it, so if anyone (or yourself =P ) is interested in something like that let me know. I'm sure we can get something arranged. --Lucient Sieyes
