I am starting to seriously contemplate taking big risk and sell some hand drawn textures I have been making.
I primarily make flowers, clothing textures, windows, and some room, building textures.
I tried when I was much younger to do a shop but I had some problems and decided to wait.
I am getting much better now and some of my hand drawn textures I feel good enough about sharing and selling now but I don't exactly know what the next step is.
I have land.
The next is just deciding if I should just sell example the flowers, plants and other textures as part of object with limited permissions or just do the whole full permission
texture thing.
Any advice?
Thanks in advance,
FD Spark

The problem with selling textures on SL is everyone wants full permissions, once you give them, there is nothing to stop people from reselling your textures.
I'm about to pull all my textures from SL because the people that are reselling them are making more Ls then I am. So much for full permissions.

Yeah I am pretty aware they do that. They can do this with any texture or almost anything except scripts if it gets on their video cards.
I have been torn about that too.
I have friend who is experiencing this with his sculpties. He keep filing dcma take down orders, then LL after he files a month or two they tell the person to stop it and they just trade the items to another alt and start selling again another alt. And he has been experiencing this for last 6 months.
It sucks part of me was wondering if I wanted to even bother because of his myself.
