Does anyone have some good gem textures? I want to make my mate something, but I can't find/make and gem/jewel textures. Anyone have them, puhweeze?

look on ebay. lots of people hawk the remnants of their marriages there. search jewelry or diamond. Sure to find some good textures.

I'll IM you, but I was looking for a square texture so that it's seamless when I want to make it look like it's sparkling.

You can turn a texture into seamless version of itself with a bit of work, or specialized programs that do it for you. Texture Maker would be one of such programs... there's a trial version available on their site. It's limited to producing textures no larger than 320x320 pixels, but in this case it's actually a blessing since SL is already texture heavy as it is.

Another option, a freeware Photoshop plugin to do the same work... not like it can't be already done with Image Ready, but hey, not everyone has it.
