How do I upload a picture as a snapshot? NOT texture, a snapshot?
Anyone know? I am sure I am missing something but every picture I upload becomes a texture, even if it was a picture taken with the SL camera or something edited in photoshop.
It happens reguardless of the file extension before uploading (jpg, bmp, tga, etc etc)
Please help

When you take a snapshot and upload as a texture that is your snapshot, It can be used as a photo or as a texture, You can also save snapshot to disk which works the same way without the $10L charge

Natalie's answer is correct, of course, but Lisa, does it really matter whether it's labeled "texture" or "snapshot" in your inventory? An image is an image is an image. All images behave the same way for all purposes, regardless of what the inventory list wants to call them.
