is it possible to create a texture on just one side of a sleeve?
I want one sleeve to be black and the other to be white.... can someone tell me how I can do that?

With the template to the body mesh we're given, the answer is no. Sorry.  There is but one arm to color. Unless of course you're successful at making prim sleeves... |

Can't be done with the SL avatar, as it is today. You also can't put text on just one sleeve, without that being mirror reversed on one arm.
