Disable auto preview with texture upload

Is it possible to turn off the functionality that automatically opens textures and images when uploading? Often, I'm bulk uploading dozens of textures at the same time and it's a real pain having all those windows open up and then having to close them all. I also assume that all those textures being loaded can cause undue strain on the sim. Maybe there's an option in the debug settings?

I think it's called Auto Open, but I can't remember where to find it.

I recently turned mine off and it freaked me out at first. It was nice not having a deluge of things opening on transfer, but it also didn't auto open freshly created LMs. So I was running around making a ton of LMs for the same place and then checking my inventory only to find a bunch of LMs for the same place.

Not in the Debug Settings that I can find.

Try unchecking edit/preferences/popups/"automatically view after accepting"

Thanks Nika, but I tried that and the texture windows still open up when I do a bulk upload.

Bumping this, because I have the same question, and not finding an answer elsewhere...

Ultimately I'd like to have snapshots automatically open when someone gives them to me, but bulk uploads of textures can be a real pain with tons of window popping open that I just have to close - I know what I uploaded, I don't need to see it again, ya know?
