I was able tomake a few pieces of clothing with transparency by leaving blanks in the texture and saving in 32 bit. But if i try to use alpha channels to make a nicely detailed design i hita snag.
When i try to save it....the moment i switch format to a .TGA it automaticly unchecks the alpha channels box saying it must be saved as a copy for that option. My question is...what am i doing wrong? all the tutorials talk about this phase as if it was possible. I know it has to be a >tga and i know my photoshop won't let me save alpha channels that way. I need help!!

Greetings, You might want to try and Merge your layers first then save as a .TGA. But, Before you do that save all the layers before merged in a ?PSD? format for later access to the layers. Hope This Helps  Buck Blanc

thanks a lot Buck.... I always save them as PDS so i can go back and edit them... The merging is what was missing i think. I apreciate it
