I'm trying to cut down on prims. And have some nice animated freebie water with splash sound, but it's only 10mx10m. I could just use 1 megaprim and replace the 8 prims I'm currenty using. Geting the megaprim is step one, but then I don't know how I'd get it to look like water, and go about pulling (if possible) scripts from the full perm freebee water. I'm sure the freebee one I have has more than 1 layer of texture in it. Or is there a Pack I can get (or someone has and could send me) that allows me to make any prim into resonable water with some texture movement and splash sound? Many thanks

Yes you can use the megaprims and your *splash* water script. Most megaprims take textures and scripts normally, although some megaprims on closer inspection are actually *cut* from larger prims and behave differently. Just remember with megaprims, the moment you try and use the stretch function or change the dimensions of the prim using the X,Y,Z, size dialogue box, the prim will revert to the maximum 10x10m. I use animated textures and a splash script in the megaprims for my pools with no problems at all. edit: I realize I didn't quite answer all your questions, so let's add to the above. To pull the script from your freebie water prim first put the prim in edit mode. Then click on the contents tab and you'll see the script. Now open your inventory so that you have both the inventory window and your prim contents tab visible. Now simply drag and drop the script in your inventory. Most splashable water prims contain a texture animation script (also in your freebie water prim) and sound files. These will have to be copied over as well using drag and drop to inventory. As for the texture being layered, I imagine some are, but one texture is all you really need. Most freebie texture places have water textures, Dreams Sandbox is a good place to check out for that. One thing you may want to play with once you've applied the texture to the prim is the transparency setting on the texture tab when in edit mode. And lastly don't forget to make the prim phantom or you'll end up with an ice rink with a moving texture
