Is it possible to make any arbitrary triangle with a single prim?
It's definitely possible to do any isosceles and right-angled triangle in one prim, and you can make any arbitrary triangle from two right-angle prims but.... is it possible with just one prim? How?

Same way I guess, use the top-shear control. Although "any" might be an overstatement...

No... well...I tried for a while with different primitive types but the best I could come up with was what was in the first post.
I asked a friend and they said "oh easy!" and gave me a right-angled triangle. Then I said "oh... I meant any arbitrary triangle", so they said "oh why didnt you say so?" and gave me an isoseles one...

Hrm
in any case, start with that
make a cube, flatten it... use top-size to 0 to make an isosoles triangle then use top-shear to move the tip around ...
is this any help?
contact me in world if you like and we can play around with it a bit.
