I used to have a very nice, plentiful, some expensive (including customs, Second Skins, En Nomine, Munchflower, the best for me LUXE by Lo Jacobs etc.) closet of "skins." Now all I'm left with is a "default" blank face. What happened?
Explanation: i have @30 (some expensive), but i have told that i disrupted things by "saving over." now my inventory sometimes suggests that i am wearing 3 skins at once! so tech. support directed me to SL skin, and asked me to "default" all 3 fields. Now all my old looks are gone. i can no longer add a skin.
Are some of my best "looks" unrecoverable? i need some skin management help. Like, do I have to take off one skin to put on another, or can I just layer them?
If so, how do I take a skin off?

Question; were you changing skins in the "Appearance" window, or were you clicking on them in your inventory?
I have tried to somehow wear more than one skin, and I can't reproduce the problem. But, in my experience, you can't take a skin off; but if you click on a different one, it replaces the one that you are wearing. You're saying that it doesn't? _____________________
