uploaded texture into clothing?

I have just finished my first hand made texture (leather pants) for SL. so i finally figured out alpha channels and all of that. I uploaded it and now its just showing as a texture. So how do i make it into pants instead of just a texture?


i dont have a prem. account is that why??

Go into the appearance editor and create new pants. That window will have squares for fabric and tint. Click on the fabric square and select your texture.
