I am having difficulty creating and saving an alpha mask to be reused on later projects. I am using GIMP. Has anyone created a standard shirt, pants, shoes mask they would be willing to share or can offer the procedures for saving my own in Gimp? Thanks in advance.

In the downloads section of this website is an excellent set of templates with alpha channels, all very usable as a base from with which to start, http://secondlife.com/download/textures/
