Full perm clothing question

I have a full perm jacket that I would like to do some mods to, such as placing a design on the back of the jacket. Is there any way to do this? The texture is not something I have in inventory - it only exists in the piece.

Thanks!

You might have full perms on the jacket, but you don't have the textures - so no, you can't export them to change.

That is kinda that. Sorry.

Just to clarify, mod permission on a clothing item means you can modify the parameters of the garment itself (the slider settings). It doesn't mean you can edit the texture.

It might seem a little confusing at first, but the garment and the texture are two completely separate things. The texture basically amounts to the material the clothing out of, and the slider settings are the clothing's cut. On a RL garment, you can alter the cut pretty easily, but you can't change the material. You can turn a pair of pants into shorts by chopping the legs off, but you can't magically transform denim into silk to make the jean shorts into boxers. Make sense?

(And please, no one start talking about how to rip the texture. Please respect creators' rights. Thanks.)

As a never-did-clothing person, I misunderstood the perm thing. Thanks for the clarifications :>
