***I've never been into the forums so far and this was the best matching subforum i've found, so please, if this is the wrong place, move it! - maybe - well actually i really think (and hope!!!) others may have come up with the same wish:***

when finally will there be "free layering" of clothes? and maybe a 4th possibility overall would be great.

I'm sick of not bein able to wear two non-modifiable items at the same time, just cause they're both labeled as "shirts"! i wanna wear my bra over my jacket and - most of all - my tattoo's UNDER my underwear^^

it's one of the last REAL restrictions i see second life has.

No one can answer your question as asked, Kristyna, unfortunately. Your guess is as good as anyone's as to when or if they'll ever switch to more generic layering. I think most users are in agreement that it would be a good move, but that doesn't mean it will happen. The only answer anyone can really give is "sooner or later, maybe".

The avatar is about 4 years overdue for an overhaul. Less restrictive layering is just the tip of a very large iceberg, as far as that goes.

well the thing about the post is not that much the exact moment, when it'll happen, but stressing the fact that I think it's time for it TO happen... and maybe others do think that as well? i have no idea about the exact program structure, but i don't think it bein THAT difficult to make the now existing layers compatible and free to set to the user
