What helped me a lot in making river and waterfall water was picking up the "spashable water" at YadNi's Junkyard. It's over by the end of the dated areas, to the left of the "freebies of the month" area, in the corner.
I opened it up and studied what was used to get an idea of how it worked. |

Based on the thread title, I expected something quite different here.
P.S. I also used the 'splashing water' freebie to learn how to do it. There are some water scripts and textures in the Library portion of your inventory as well. _____________________

What I hoped would be talked about was making water that could have the same physics as the Linden water. I built a lake at one of my landlocked properties and it is swimmable thanks to Siggy Romulous' prim water, but it can't support boats. Anyone seen any artificial water that vehicles could deal with?

I've seen custom vehicles for specific artificial water areas, but if a boat/watercraft is using llWater calls and/or ser Vehicle type set to VEHICLE_TYPE_BOAT, you can't just build something to make the vehicle work. |
